http://annuha.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/annuha/article/view/909

This study examines the role of the Yaumul Qur’an Program as a branding strategy to enhance the quality and public image of SDIT Al-Fahmi. In the context of increasing competition among Islamic primary schools, educational branding is no longer limited to visual promotion but must be rooted in authentic educational practices. This research aims to analyze how Yaumul Qur’an contributes to institutional image building, students’ Qur’anic competence, and parental trust. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with school leaders and Qur’an coordinators, and documentation analysis. The findings reveal that the program strengthens students’ engagement with the Qur’an, improves memorization and recitation skills, and fosters positive parental perceptions toward the school. Moreover, Yaumul Qur’an functions as a value-based branding strategy that integrates religious habituation with institutional reputation. The study concludes that Qur’an-centered programs can serve as sustainable and distinctive branding strategies for Islamic educational institutions.
Zaafarani Nabila ZahraMohamad Joko Susilo

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) based on the Quran and Sunnah according to the understanding of Salafus Shalih at Pondok Pesantren Ihya' As-Sunnah Singkut, Jambi. In the midst of modern educational challenges, the Salafiyah model offers a return to the purity of Islamic teachings (Tasfiyah) and authentic upbringing (Tarbiyah). This research uses a qualitative descriptive case study approach with data collected through learning observations, in-depth interviews with administrators and teachers (Ustadz), and curriculum documentation. The findings show that: (1) The curriculum integrates the National and Pesantren Curriculum with emphasis on Aqidah Tauhid, Tahfidz Al-Quran, and Arabic; (2) Learning methods prioritize talaqqi, memorization, and practicing sunnah; (3) Educational orientation places Adab (manners) before Ilm (knowledge). The implication is the formation of students with strong religious identity, skills, and noble character following the guidance of Prophet Muhammad Shalallahu ‘alaihi wasallam.
Arif UsmanFiqqi Assidieq BahresyWahyu Rizky RomadhonAfrizon AfrizonSyaiful AnamJumadi Jumadi

This study aims to describe the implementation of religious programs and analyze how these programs contribute to the moral development of students at SMP Negeri 40 Padang. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the religious programs at SMP Negeri 40 Padang are implemented through several activities, including weekly Qur’anic recitation (tadarus), tahfizh, the recitation of Asmaul Husna, congregational zuhr prayer, the Students’ Prayer Movement (GPS), muhadarah, and the Qur’anic Learning Program (TPQ). All activities are carried out systematically and supported by Islamic Education teachers, the vice principal for student affairs, and other teachers. The results show that the implementation of religious programs has a significant contribution to students’ moral development, particularly in aspects of discipline, manners, responsibility, honesty, and spiritual awareness. These religious activities function as a habituation process that shapes positive behavior through continuous and structured worship practices. Furthermore, the school’s religious environment and the teachers’ role modeling strengthen the internalization of moral values among students. Therefore, the religious programs at SMP Negeri 40 Padang are considered effective in supporting students’ moral development and may serve as a relevant model for other schools in strengthening character education based on Islamic values.
Amira Putri SalsabilaZahriyah Simargolang

http://annuha.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/annuha/article/view/910

This study aims to examine and formulate a model for developing an Islamic Religious Education curriculum based on the integration of Islamic values and 21st-century competencies. The method used is a literature review by examining various scientific sources in the form of books and national and international journal articles relevant to curriculum studies, Islamic education, and 21st-century competencies. The analysis was conducted descriptively and analytically through data reduction, theme categorization, and concept synthesis to build an integrative and contextual curriculum framework. The results of the study indicate that the development of an effective Islamic Religious Education curriculum model requires a paradigm shift from a content-based curriculum to a value- and competency-based curriculum. The integration of Islamic values, including faith, worship, morals, and muamalah, with 21st-century competencies can be realized through the formulation of holistic learning objectives, the development of contextual materials, the application of active and collaborative learning strategies, and authentic evaluation that assesses cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in a balanced manner. This curriculum model is expected to strengthen the relevance of Islamic Religious Education in shaping students who are religious, have good character, and are ready to face the challenges of global life.
Hazirman HazirmanDevita LonaMuhammad HusinAhmad LahmiRosniati Hakim

This study aims to describe the efforts of a suluk (morals) teacher to improve the learning focus of eighth-grade female students at MTs Pondok Pesantren Al-Furqon Putri Paser. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results indicate that the suluk teacher employed various coaching strategies: fostering etiquette before learning, engaging students with lack of focus, creating a conducive classroom atmosphere, and instilling the value of muraqabah (feeling God's watchful eye). The teacher also integrated moral values such as sincerity, contentment, and asceticism (zuhud) to enable the students to maintain concentration and avoid distraction. The impact of these efforts was seen in increased student participation, discipline, and spiritual awareness in learning. These findings confirm that moral development by the suluk teacher significantly contributes to improving the learning focus of female students in the Islamic boarding school environment.
Sarifah Novi YaniSuhartono Suhartono

http://annuha.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/annuha/article/view/911

Curriculum evaluation is an important component in ensuring the achievement of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning objectives in schools and madrasahs. The transition from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum has brought fundamental changes in the learning evaluation paradigm, in terms of approach, instruments, and the roles of teachers and students. This article aims to comparatively analyze the evaluation of the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum in the context of Islamic Religious Education learning in schools and madrasas, highlighting aspects of the concept of evaluation, assessment approaches, implementation in the field, challenges faced, and its application to PAI learning. The research method used is a literature review. Data were obtained from various literature sources in the form of books and national and international journal articles relevant to curriculum evaluation, the 2013 Curriculum, the Merdeka Curriculum, and Islamic Religious Education. The analysis was conducted thematically and comparatively to identify similarities, differences, and evaluation trends in both curricula. The results of the study show that the evaluation of the 2013 Curriculum is more structured and oriented towards achieving Core Competencies and Basic Competencies through the assessment of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Meanwhile, the Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes flexible, contextual, and student-centered evaluation through diagnostic and formative assessments. Overall, the Merdeka Curriculum is considered more adaptive in supporting meaningful PAI learning, although it still requires improvements in teacher readiness and educational system support.
Nilawati NilawatiMeidia PutriDeti SusmitaAhmad LahmiRosniati Hakim
