Implementasi Pembelajaran Al-Qur'an Berbasis Sampah dalam Membentuk Karakter Peduli Lingkungan Peserta Didik di Lembaga We SAVE NTB

Abstract

This study is motivated by environmental problems, particularly the increasing volume of waste and the low level of environmental awareness among children. The We SAVE NTB institution implements an innovative Qur’an-based learning program integrated with waste management to foster environmental care character. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Qur’an-based waste learning program and to examine the process of forming students’ environmental care character. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving managers, educators, and students. Data analysis includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the program is implemented systematically through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages, integrating Qur’anic learning with waste-related activities. The program contributes to the development of students’ environmental awareness through habituation, direct practice, and active involvement in environmental activities.
